There ar so many species of Dolphins and so many need to be recognized. I will try and post new pictures as I can. I would like to thank everyone who has sent me pictures to use on this site. Dolphins belong to a group of mammals called, cetaceans, whales are also included in this group. There is about 32 species of Oceanic Dolphins and 5 River Dolphin species. Bottled-Nose Dolphins average about 42-52 inches long at birth and weigh about 44lbs. CammersonDolphins are the smallest species measuring in at less than 5 foot in length. All species of Dolphins are carnivores(meat eaters). There diet consist mainly of fish, squids, eels, anchovies,herring,etc...
