BOTOS---AMAZON RIVER DOLPHIN

This is a Botos-- Amazon River Dolphin.  Inia Geoffrensis

Botos generally move at a slower pace than other dolphin species.  They tend to get more translucent with age and the pink colours is the blood showing through the skin.  Exspecially on the ventral side.

COMMERSON DOLPHIN

This is a commerson dolphin.   Cephalorhynchus commersonii

The commerson dolphin was discovered around 1787.AKA: skunk dolphin and puffing pig.  The commerson has no obvious beak and rounded dorsal fin.  The color of this dolphinsdevelope with age.  The young are born  with muted grey on black.

CHILEAN DOLPHIN

This is a Chilean Dolphin  Cephalorhynchus  Eutropia

The chilean dolphin was discovered around1846   AKA:  White Bellied Dolphin.  its clor is maily black or dark grey.  The chilean dolphin has no obvious beak and round dosal fins.. They are considered shy and very rare.

ATLANTIC--WHITE-SIDED DOLPHIN

This is an Atlantic White-Sided Dolphin.AKA:  Jumper, Springer, lag.

This Dolphin is cosidered robust,athletic,and gregarious.  It has sharply poited dorsal fins and flippers

ATLANTIC SPOTTED DOLPHINS

These are atlantic spotted Dolphin. Stenella Frontalis.  They were discovered around 1829.  AKA:  spotter-- They are considered very vocal and active.  At the surface the like to do high jumps, lobtailing, foward flips, and bow riding.  They are also known in the aiding of distressed members of thier schools.

INDO-PACIFIC HUMPBACK DOLPHIN

This is an Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin.   Sousa Chinensis

This dolphin was first sighted around the 1760's.  They have long beaks and are brown grey -pale grey in color. They have also been seen as pink.

PEALE DOLPHIN

This is a Peale Dolphin.Lagenorhynchus Australis

The first specimen was discovered in Febuary of 1839,But was not named until 1848 by TitianR. Peale.  AKA: Blackchin Dolphin. These dolphins love to bowride and often porpoising out of the water with long low-angled leaps
